Elebits from Konami is one of the more unique launch titles for the Nintendo Wii. It makes good use of the wiimote to have players search for the electricity generating Elebits in daily locations like kitchen. One of the videos show players pushing appliances away in a cabinet to catch the cute little creatures.
To celebrate its release, both Konami US and Japan have produce collectibles stuffed characters for the game. US gamers who pre-order the game will get a collectible Elebits plush doll for free. While only one character is available for the US, Japanese gamers actually get to buy a few versions of the characters.

With the announcements of Final Fantasy XIII in E3 2006, Square Enix’s content for the Tokyo Game Show in less than three weeks time is inviting great expectations. In a list published days ago, a total of 11 games are listed and more than half of them are playable. Although being so early in the development cycle, it’s not hard to guess that FFXIII and Final Fantasy Versus XIII, both part of Fabula Nova Crystallis project, won’t be one of the playable games but expect a new trailer, images and probably more story and characters will be revealed.
For the PSP, Square have only Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII, part of its Compilation of Final Fantasy VII project to show and it’s not listed as one of the playable game. A bit disappointing considering that the game has been announced long ago and the only revelations so far are a few images and a brief story details.
- Dragon Quest Monsters Joker (DS, Playable)
- Chocobo no Mahou Ehon (DS, Playable)
- Seiken Densetsu IV (PS2, Playable)
- Final Fantasy XI (PS2, Xbox 360, Playable)
- Final Fantasy III (DS, Playable)
- Final Fantasy V Advance (GBA)
- Final Fantasy VI Advance (GBA)
- Project Sylpheed (X360)
- Fabula Nova Crystallis - Final Fantasy Versus XIII (PS3)
- Fabula Nova Crystallis - Final Fantasy XIII (PS3)
- Final Fantasy VIII: Crisis Core (PSP)

The week saw three new PlayStation 2 games in the top five of Japanese games sales. Loco Roco, Sony’s best hope for the PlayStation Portable, debuted at number 7, pretty dissappoiting considering the amount of hype and advertisements that Sony has put in. Overall, its a good week for PSP as 6 titles are in the top 30.

The full Japanese chart two weeks ago. Xenosaga Episode III and Tekken: Dark Resurrection for PS2 and PSP respectively were the two major releases for the week, however both failed to unseat Super Mario Bros. from the top spot.
