Sting made a special custom theme to celebrate Riviera: Yakusoku no Chi Special Edition’s (budget re-release with English voice of Rivieria: The Promised Land in Japan) first anniversary in Japan.
It has been a while since I made my own themes for PSP and PS3, am itchy to do a couple more soon, especially now that Sony actually charge people for themes… Mine will always be free :)

Time to check out how the game actually plays, Sony just announced that we can expect echochrome demo for both PSP and PS3 next week. The demo will act as a tutorial to introduce players to the game. The PSP version will be available from various PlayStation Spot locations in Japan, the PlayStation Store for PC or from the Japanese PSP Internet browser. The PS3 version will only be available from within the PlayStation Store.
The official echochrome PSP theme is now available at the official website, the direct link is here.

Star Ocean First Departure and its special edition PSP were out earlier today in Japan, Square Enix celebrates the release by having a special message board (for the developers), a special page in Square Enix Members (require login), a wallpaper and a couple of cool Star Ocean PSP themes. Download the themes from the links below, only the “first layer” icons were customized though, the rest is the same as Sony’s default.
On the other hand, according to Mainichi earlier, Star Ocean Second Evolution, the sequel to First Departure, will come out in February. However, that particular sentence in the news has since been quickly changed to “TBA”.

Give the Custom Theme Converter to a designer who happens to be a Monster Hunter fan and guess what he will come out with? Yeap, after hours redrawing the monster icons and many hair pulling moments with the tool (more on that in a later post), I managed to come out with my first ever PSP theme. So now I can click on Tigarex to check out my photos and Yian Kut-kut will let me listen to my musics, hope you all like it as well.

Notes:
Please always link to this page instead of linking directly to the file.
Please save the .ptf file to the “THEME” folder inside the “PSP” folder (X:/PSP/THEME).
Image above is Photoshop comp, I am too lazy to take photograph.
