Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology

With characters from two previous “Tales of” series in an all new story, Tales of the World is almost like a tribute to the series that is so popular in and outside Japan. Beside these characters, players can create their own characters through the game’s customization mode and assign a job class to them as well.
In the town’s hotel, players can look for the characters that they have met before and invite them to be in their party. The party then set out to complete various missions that include looking for items and killing monsters.
The story is about the “World Tree” that has protected its people for a long time, however an invasion break the peace and World Tree uses its last remaining power to protect the earth.

The world “Telegea” protected by the World Tree was a world where people led their day-to-day lives. One day, monsters known as Devourers from another world entered the realm and ate up almost the whole land. People were forced to look for places to reside all over and lived in fear. The World Tree that nurtured Telegea protected the people and the land from the invasion but its strength was sapping away by the day. Due to this, the World Tree used its remaining power to create the last hope, the main character played by the player.

- PSPHyper Review
- TOTW is a great game (especially for fans) due to the number of all-time favourite characters you get to interact and use from the Tale of Universe. Customization is unbelievably comprehensive and complex, allowing you to do almost anything you want with your equipments and items. Battles are relatively fun because of the interesting skills you get, as well as the party characters you can choose to recruit. Most importantly, TOTW is pleasing to the eyes and ears in every way.
