It may be tedious at times, but a fully developed farm will save you plenty of time and efforts gathering much needed items. You will have to earn Pokke Points in order to be able to upgrade your farm and gather more and better items. There are three ways to earn Pokke Points:
- During your quests, items like 雪山草 and 特産キノコ will be sold in exchange for Pokke Points
- Training missions
- Treasure hunting missions

You will be able to unlock the fishing net once you completed the Village ★★★★★ Emergency Quest. Obviously, you can get more of the same fish here but you can also find 古代魚, 水竜の鱗 and 翠水竜の鱗 here. You have to provide the cat with ネット (net) before you can use it though.
Farming Spot
The farming spots are a convenient way to get those essential items for you. Just give the cat at the farming spot the herbs or seed that you wish to plant and return after your next mission to collect them. You can collect more if you make use of fertilizers like 釣りミミズ (Worm), モンスターのフン (Dung) and 飛竜のフン (Dragon Dung). Select a fertilizer from your item list, select the items you'd like to fertilize and press the Ο button.

Available after Village ★★★★ Quests, you can get ハチミツ (Honey), ツチハチノコ (Snakebee Larva) and 虫の死骸 (Insect Husk) from the beehive.
Cave
Available after you have beaten the Tigarex in Village ★★★★ Quests. Go into the cave located towards the end of the farm, talk to the cat and it will be unlocked. Give the cat two 古龍骨 and it will gives you 黒いかけら and 黒い塊, both crucial for making the Black range of weapons.
Torenya's Boat
Save your time from travelling all over the maps to get items by using your Pokke Points to get the cat at the river bank to search for items for you.
