1. 雪山に潜む影
Kill or capture フルフル (Furu Furu) in snow mountains (area 1, 6, 7, 8 and it rest in 3).
2. 雪山の主、ドドブランゴ
Kill or capture ドドブランゴ (Snow Lion) in the snow mountains (area 6, 7, 8 and it rest in 3).
3. ヤオザミの群れ
Kill 10 ヤオザミ (Yaozami), those smaller crabs in the coastal areas of the jungle (area 3, 4, 9 and 10).
4. 砂漠の水竜
Kill or capture ガノトトス (Ganototos) in the desert (area 6 and 7).
5. 毒の怪鳥、ゲリョス現る
Kill or capture ゲリョス (Geryos) in the swamp (area 2, 4 and 6).
6. 湿地帯の鎌蟹
Kill or capture ショウグンギザミ (Shougun Gizami) in the swamp.
7. 大怪鳥イャンクックを倒せ！
Kill or capture イァンクック (Yian Kut-ku) in the forest & hills (area 2, 4, 9, 10 and it rest in 5).
8. リオレウス討伐指令
Kill or capture リオレウス (Rathalos) in the forest & hills.
Unless you've cleared the Village Quests, this will be your first meeting with this poisonous monster. It likes to fly all over the map, so the paintballs are a must here, so does flash bombs (閃光玉), which can be used to stun it for a while. This precious time is needed if you want to finish the mission earlier. Not only it grants you plenty of free attacks, it also lets you plant your bombs for higher damage. Another must have is obviously antidotes (解毒薬). Power juice (強走薬) is recommended as well as you will do plenty of running here.
Weapons with ice or water effects work well against the fiery monster here. I find it actually easier to hit its head directly than anywhere else, though the skillful will aim for tail first to carve for more items. The best time to attack its head is when it's blowing fire, you can avoid being hit by its tail as well but do watch out for the poisonous somersault attack. Another chance for you is when it's doing its sliding attack, you can run towards its back and earn one or two hits from there.
9. 激闘！雌火竜リオレイア
Almost an exact repeat of the above quest, this time in the jungle, kill or capture リオレイア (Rathian), a variation of リオレウス (Rathalos). The strategy is the same as above.
