1. 雪山：素材ツアー
This and the next two must be the easiest mission in the game. Just pick up the ticket from blue supply box, press the Circle button in front of the red supply box and you are done. However this and the next two quests are extremely useful for items collection.
2. 密林：素材ツアー
3. 砂漠：素材ツアー
4. 肉食獣のリーダー
This is the emergency quest in the Village ★ Quests.
5. 猪突猛進！ドスファンゴ
This is the larger version of the wild pigs and may move slowly but is incredibly fast when switched to attack mode. Found in area 6, 7 and 8, take advantage when it's turning around to attack you. It will run away when weak and it's the best time to attack as well.
6. ギアノスたちを討伐せよ!
This can be tiring or fun, kill 20 of those W Velociprey in area 3, 5, 6, 7 and 8. You'll have to revisit those area to find more of them. Gianos and wild pigs can be found in those areas as well, kill them to calved for useful items.
7. ブランゴたちの群れ
Kill five Brangos, found in 6, 7, 8 and 2. Their movements are trained to avoid your attacks, so wait till they settled to launch your attacks. The giant wild pig found in Quest 5 can be found in these areas too, kill him for useful items.
8. 油断は禁物...!?
Collect 15 Snow Mountain Herbs, found in the snowy part of the map. However, ティガレックス (Tigarex) will be your company here as well. At this stage, you have no chance against him, so get your plants and run!
9. ドスランポスを狩猟せよ！
First hunting quest in the beautiful jungle. ドスランポス (Velocidrome) is in area 6, 7 and 8 most of the time, with W Velocipreys around, it can be tricky but relatively easy. Just avoid standing on a spot for too long or walking in straight line.
10. 密林の大怪鳥
This should probably be the first real challenge of the game for those new to the Monster Hunter world. You'll be sent to kill or capture イァンクック (Yian Kut-ku), who will fly from area 1 to 5, or when he is weak, area 6. Make use of the ペイントボール (Paintball) to keep track of him. He don't have many attacking variations, and attacking from behind is the best option. To capture him, hit him until he is struggling to move or fly and place 携帯シビレ罠 (Paralyze Trap) on the ground (you will need 3 seconds to do just that!) and lure him over, throw two 捕獲用麻酔玉 at him and it should be done, otherwise you will miss the chance to capture him and the only option is to kill.
11. 珍獣の中の珍獣
The difficulty is slowly building up here, I was struggling here for quite a while. Slay or capture the naughty ババコンガ (Baba Konga). I strongly suggest capturing, the rewards are big.
To be effective here, you really need to know where the big monkey is going, so ペイントボール (Paintball) is a must in order for you to finish the quest in time. Her movement area is 1, 2, 3, 9 and 6, which is her recovering spot. My advice is to clear the wild pigs and W Velocipreys in those area first so that you don't get into a mass brawl in the thick jungle.
My tactics against her are a higher damage weapon (the Blade) and take advantage of those wide open body after those rather elaborate (but can be harmful) attacks. The yellow colored gas from her will stop you from using your potion if you get too close, use the 消臭玉 to clear the air. Capturing her is the same as Quest 10, slash until she is visibly weak, plant your trap and throw the 捕獲用麻酔玉 at her.
12. 森の珍獣、コンガを狩れ！
Kill 10 コンガ (Konga), they are those monkeys found in area 2, 5, 9 and 10. Watch out for ドスランポス (Velocidrome), though you should really kill him to get some of the valuable materials for weapons upgrade.
13. 巨大昆虫、発生！
ランゴスタ (Vespoids) are probably the most annoying creature in the game, they are either in your way or make an already daunting task even more difficult. So get your revenge here, they can be found in 1, 3, 5, 7, 8 and 9.
14. 調合素材を採取せよ！
Send 20 特産キノコ to the red supply box. The special mushrooms are those red colored plant in area 1, 2, 6, 9 and 10. ドスランポス (Velocidrome) is in the map as well.
15. ドスゲネポスを狩れ！
Kill or capture ドスゲネポス (Dosgenepos). This will be the first real test in the desert for new comers. However he is almost a desert version of the Velocidrome in Quest 11 & 12. If you hurt him enough, he will start his multiple areas running and chasing him is almost a waste of time. If you use the paintball against him, it's easy to track him down, but you are almost guaranteed to bump into him anywhere in area 1, 2, 4, 5, 6 and 7, where he sleep to recover. The rewards are normal mushrooms if you kill him and some rare bones if you manage to capture him.
16. 大地を泳ぐモンスター
Kill or capture ドスガレオス (Dosgaleos), found in the desert areas and sleep in area 7 when he is weak. Desert quests are always tough and to a certain extend, boring for me, make use of the cooling potion (クーラードリンク) to stop your health from reducing and the 音爆弾 to stop him from hiding under the sands. The best attacking option is from under him, you can get in just after he blows out those nasty sands. Watch for his "flying attack", it can make you paralyze though he rarely make use of the situation. This is a quest worth revisiting as the rewards are plenty.
17. 幻のキモを追え！
This quest used to be tough in MHP, you need to send three 魚竜のキモ (livers) to the red supply box. Kill those ガレオス in the desert areas and carve for their livers. Getting those creatures out of the sand might be tricky, you can throw 音爆弾 near them or attack them when they pop up to spray those sand at you. Depends on your luck, you can get a liver 75% of the time. ドスゲネポス (Dosgenepos) will pops up around the map too.
18. たまには釣りでもいかが？
Quite a tedious task, send two gold fishes to the red supply box. You should bring more fishing rods before taking up the quest if you are not familiar with the fishing system in the game. To fish, you need to be patient, the farm provide plenty of opportunities to train youself to be a good fisherman. The gold fishes can be found in area 1 and 6. I found it better to fish in area 1, so you need to bring your own cooling potion (クーラードリンク) and goes in and out of area 1 as the gold fish most probably won't be there most of the time. Pull your fishing rod when its the other fishes that are heading to your bait, it won't spoiled your rod. ドスガレオス (Dosgaleos) is here for you to kill as well.
雪山に潜む影 (Emergency Quest)
The toughest monster so far in the game, kill フルフル (Furu Furu) in the snow mountains. You should bring more of your health potions, paintballs and hot drinks as the supply are lesser now that you are practically in the Village ★★★ Quest.
With the expanded map, finding him is probably the toughest part so the paintballs are a must here. But you can wait him at area 1, he will surely be there after a while in the beginning of the quest. He will make a tour of the map after fighting with you for a while but will returns to area 1 again. When he is really hurt, he will rest in area 3, where it's tough to fight him due to the small area.
He may looks ugly and stupid but the blue colored waves that he gives out can really hurt you. The safest way is to always be at his back most of the time and make your attack after he is done with his turn. His neck is the weak point though it's risky but if you studied his movements, there is always an opening to aim your attack there.
