1. ドスガレオス討伐訓練
A revisit to the similar quest in the Village ★★ Quests. The ドスガレオス (Dosgaleos) here should be slightly lower in health compare to the main quest but unless you are expert with the five weapons given, you'll have hard times against it without enough supply of items.
The monster moves around areas 2, 1, 5 and when he is weak, rest at 7. However, unlike MHP, where items like map are readily available from the start, you will have to pick them up throughout the desert here. Here's a guide to some of the useful items you will find in the areas.

- Psychoserum (so you can see, for a short while, where the monster is)
- Small Bombs, Farcaster (transport you back to the camp)

- Mega Potion, Small Bombs (kill the crabs for this), Sonic Bomb
2. ガノトトス討伐訓練
One of the most annoying monsters in the game, you're up against ガノトトス (Ganototos) in the jungle. It will only moves between area 3 and 4, so no endless trekking here. However, getting it out of water can be really tricky, even the Sonic Bombs are not good enough sometimes. Only one of the trainings provides the fishing rod with frog (watching the animation when the monster take the bait gives a brief excitement to an otherwise boring task). One last option is to stand at the spot where it always landed when jumping out, that's somewhere the middle for area 3 and a corner in area 4.
As for items, you can get some Potion in area 3 and Mega Potion & Sonic Bombs in area 9, and that should be enough to kill the monster. On the weapons provided, I found Hammer the hardest, but it turns out to be the most powerful. When holding it, keep pressing the Triangle button will gives you a nice three hit combo. For Gun Lancer, just do shield and attack.
