The ever beautiful opening movie that the game is famous for is back, this time it appears to be greener.

What is MHP 2ndG?

In an earlier interview with Weekly Famitsu, producer Ryozo Tsujimoto explained that MHP 2ndG is basically an expansion to MHP 2nd, many features that can’t make it to MHP 2nd will be added to MHP 2ndG. On the other hand, the developers also would like to give those sitting on the fence about buying the game a chance to catch up with existing players since the game will include everything in MHP 2nd plus more.

To MHP 2nd or Monster Hunter Freedom 2 players, MHP 2ndG looks and plays just like your game with Nekooto quests, hunt different monsters in a quest, new monsters, new weapons, new armors, new skills, new maps, new weapon sharpness, Otomo Ailu, new Felyne Whim skills, more comprehensive Guild Card, improved dodging for hunters, Media Install, MHP 2nd data transfer and various usability improvements.
