MHP 2nd Save Data Transfer

You’ll probably know by now that MHP 2nd G is basically an expansion of MHP 2nd (new players who don’t have MHP 2nd can still play the game, hence the full price), so a save data transfer is inevitable. Please note that while your MHP 2nd save data will be used for the following transfer, the original file will be kept and a new MHP 2nd G data will be created, so no worries if you want to go back and play MHP 2nd later.

The following are the details on what will happens during data transfer.

1. Sex and facial changes.
2. Character name will remained.
3. Apart from Training School data, all details on Guild Card will be retained.
4. Most weapons, armors and items can be carried over. Ornaments attached to weapons and armors will be moved to the items box.
5. If there is a genre change, the respective armors will be changed accordingly. Armors exclusive to certain genre will be converted to gold.
6. Previously cleared quests, Ailus in the kitchen, Pokke Farm expansion and Hunter Rank will be retained.
7. Items box will has 800 slots from the very beginning.
8. Gallery and downloaded quests won’t be carried over. However, MHP 2nd save data will be kept, you can always check it out by inserting the MHP 2nd UMD.
