I missed this one in the content listing but another new game that get announced in the upcoming Weekly Famitsu is Shin Sangoku Musou: Multi Raid 2 (the first game is called Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce in the US, screen above). Not much details at this moment but the game will apparently comes with support for Infrastructure Mode, new monsters and an “Overdrive System”. No release date is given but I am guessing Spring 2010, the same time when the first game came out earlier this year (to great reception in Japan).

This week’s issue of Weekly Famitsu shows The Eye of Judgement: Shintaku no Wizard (The Eye of Judgement: Wizard of Oracle?) among the content list. Got pretty excited for the PS3 version but didn’t buy it, hope to check this out when it came out. The genre listed is obviously TCG (Trading Card Game), more information when they become available. Plenty of other PSP games listed in the content but most of them strategy guides for recently released games.
Update: The game will be out in March 2010 and you can expect a demo soon.

Square Enix reveals the design for the special edition PSP-3000 that will be bundled with Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep when it’s out in Japan this January. What do you think? Simple and nice for me. The bundle will cost ¥ 22,000 in Japan. Play-Asia currently have the game itself available for pre-order at $59.90.

Things are getting more and more competitive at the top as we drew near to the holiday season. Only Persona 3 Portable managed to stay at the Top 10 for PSP this week, with an impressive number of more than 46,000 copies sold. The PS3 version of World Soccer Winning Eleven 2010 took the top spot this week, will be interesting to see how the PSP version, which has been doing well before, do when it came out this December.

Plenty of updates to the Senjou no Valkyria 2 (aka Valkyria Chronicles 2) official website, including videos of the original game’s main character, Welkin, Alicia and Cordelia. More videos after the jump, such as gameplay videos showing the BLiTZ System, which Sega says is now “seamless”. I still find it weird that soldier continue to shoot at empty air even after the enemy is dead…

Wonder how Arc System Works‘ popular fighter BlazBlue would translate into PSP? I think it looks pretty sharp! For those who didn’t know, BlazBlue Portable has been announced for PSP for release next February in Japan. Besides the 12 characters including their Unlimited forms and the expected Ad Hoc support, there is an original mode for PSP called “Legion Mode”. The mode (screen here) will has you fight your enemies one by one, making them your allies by defeating them in preparation for the boss battle. More screens after the jump.

With the helps of Persona 3 Portable, Dissidia: Final Fantasy Universal Tuning and the demo of Phantasy Star Portable 2 (which apparently drew a long line at a BIC Camera store), PSP and PSP go had a great week with more than 65,000 units sold in total. It also worth noting that PSP go, P3P and Dissidia’s numbers are first day figure only since they launched on the last day of the ranking, November 1st. So it will be interesting to see how the system is doing after this.
Anyone here got the PSP go bug here besides Jay-C?
