10 Million PSPs Sold In Japan

Sony announced it has sold 10 million PSPs in Japan today, something they achieved in little more than three-and-a-half years. Based on data provided by Enterbrain, the electronics giant is also quick to remind us that the system is the best selling system so far in Japan this year. Another interesting number (to me at least) is there are 580 PSP titles released in Japan till March 2008, including four games from the ever popular and best selling Monster Hunter Portable series (Monster Hunter Portable PSP The Best included). This week’s release of the metallic blue PSP packs and Gundam Battle Universe should help a little more. Also noted from the press release is that Patapon 2 is actually still a working title.
