130,000 Slim & Lite Sold On Day 1

Gpara has the result for the performance of PSP Slim & Lite (PSP-2000), which officially went on sale yesterday in Japan. Apparently around 130,000 units were sold in Japan, making it the second biggest one day sale for the handheld in the country since the launch of PSP-1000 back in 2004, when the first day figure stands at 171,963 according to Media Create. The figure outdo even the Crisis Core bundle released last week, when 95,487 units of “old” and the special bundle were sold.

September 22nd, 2007 at 2:49 am[...] More great news for Sony’s PSP as Enterbrain reports that 250,702 units of PSP-2000 (also officially known as PSP Slim & Lite in Japan) were sold in 3 days since its launch on September 20th. Sony announced earlier that 130,000 units were sold on day 1 alone, which means the Japanese public pick up 120,000 more units in the next two days. The publisher also reveals that 75,943 units of the special Crisis Core bundle (Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII 10th Anniversary Limited) were sold so far.
