Acquire Announces New RPG For PSP

Ken To Mahou To Gakuen Mono

After the epic dungeon digging of Yuusha no Kuse ni Namaikida, I am really looking forward to whatever Acquire will come up with next. Ken To Mahou To Gakuen Mono, or according to my direct translation, Sword to Magic to Campus Mono, is being described as a “3D Dungeon RPG” and set for release this June in Japan. The game is under development at Zerodiv, whose latest work is Shikigami no Shiro Episode 3 for Xbox 360.

A teaser site was launched earlier today but it only has a huge image with characters seen in the Weekly Famitsu scan and a direct link to the mag section of Amazon Japan, asking visitor to check out the gaming mag for its unveil. I will post info once I got a copy of the mag myself. According to the usually reliable Play-Asia.com, who was the first to reveal the game, the exact release date should be Jun 19. So expect plenty of info in the next few weeks.

Update: Check out the first screenshots here.
