Acquire’s Totomono Coming To US As Class of Heroes

Still remember Ken To Mahou To Gakuen Mono? That cute looking old school RPG published by Yuusha no Kuse ni Namaikida series’ maker Acquire (developed by Zerodiv) in Japan last June? Good Atlus is bringing it to US as Class of Heroes and it’s a lot cheaper than the Japanese version ($29.99), which stays in my wish list at Play-Asia since its launch.
The game is heavy on customization, all the party members can be created by the players, down to their basic attributes (strength, luck, agility, etc). Your base is a school, hence the student-like characters (design by Mr Uji), where you can take on quests from notice board and buy items from shops inside. Once you’re done setting up, you’ll head to dungeons (there are over 75 of them), which are presented in first person view. Enemy encounters are random and the battle system is command based.
Despite weak scores from the Weekly Famitsu review panel (6,7,6,5), the game went on to sell more than 50,000 copies according to Enterbrain. The reviewers said it’s a tough game unless you played the Wizardry series (which this game apparently inspired from) before and most dungeons look almost identical.
Regardless, I am getting this for sure. However, I thought the name is a little too generic (the Japanese name translated to something like Sword, Magic and Campus Mono), some people might missed it.
