Battle Stance: Valhalla Knights 2 Refined For Budget Price

I wrote a bit on the enhancements that Valhalla Knights 2 Battle Stance are getting in an earlier post, Famitsu posted plenty of new screens to show the changes, take a look after the jump.
After looking at the screens, I think it’s actually very nice of Marvelous to put so much effort into what essentially is a budget re-release of the original game (Battle Stance is slightly cheaper than full price game at ¥ 3990). But it also seems like they are preparing new developers Kurogane (the original developers K2 was bought by Capcom) for the next game in the series, which I wouldn’t mind really.
ActiveActionBattle

The original game’s battle system is stats-heavy but Battle Stance requires player to strategize their battles. This is archived with lesser characters on screen as you can only have four players in your party now (compared to six in the original game). Also enhanced is the AIs of party members and enemies to further improve the game’s balance.
Simultaneous Attack

Players will be able to launch “Simultaneous Attack” with other characters during battle once certain condition is met. Improved camera and special effects will make sure this looks cool.
New Character Status Screen

Gallery Mode

You’ll be able to unlock movies from the first game of the series. Unfortunately, this is only if you have the save data of the first game in the Memory Stick (which should be easy to look for on the Internet).
New Contents

More than 40 types of new quests, weapons, armors and items are also added to Battle Stance. And the “Yarikomi” elements (basically the hardcore mode) of the original game, the “Nameless Tower” now has 50 floors instead of 10 in the original game.
Gate Crystal

To make it convenient when moving around the game world, you can now place “Gate Crystal” at places you’ve visited so you can warp into that place instantly from other towns.
Improved Tutorial

To help ease newcomers to the series or the ARPG genre, there are more helpful tutorial in the early stages of the game. “Screen Information” such the number of enemies remaining are also added.

looks very interesting, i already have vk2 but the revamp battle system along with all the other changes looks interesting, wondering if it would be worth the purchase
