Beautiful Danboru Senki Screens & Concept Arts

Here are the first direct feed screens and concept arts of Danboru Senki (my translation: Cardboard Battle Machine), one of Level-5’s 10th Anniversary title and to also appear on the company’s online platform Roid. It is also a game that Level-5 president Akihiro Hino hopes will “reaches the boy’s heart in all guys” (source). A brief info on the story and more screens after the jump.

The Story

In the year 2050, LBX (Little Battle eXperience) became the hottest toy robot among the kids. However, it became too powerful and pose serious dangers to the kids and were ordered to stop being produced. A more advanced cardboards were created later to reproduce the robots. The main character is a 13-year-old boy, who is obviously crazy with LBX. One day, he found a the latest model of LBX in a toy shop…
