Weekly Famitsu has features on Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep and Dissidia: Final Fantasy this week, and as usual, part of the articles are now online. Birth by Sleep takes place long before Kingdom Hearts I, when there are multiple owners of the famous Keyblade. Famitsu says the new battle system is a breath of fresh air for the Kingdom Hearts series. Let’s take a look.

The game to get rid of the MP system altogether, skills and magics used will become available again after a certain time period. And as the screens above shown, there is a “COMMAND” bar that will slowly fill up as players make their attacks (and decreases if they don’t), a special attack can be launched once the bar is full. Players can also custom mapped the special attack buttons.

The special attack doesn’t ends there, Terra seems to has a special “FATAL MODE” that allows him to kill enemies with only one strike.
