A couple of PSP games from Irem appear to be getting their English release next year. Blokus Portable: Steambot Championship (Blocks Club with Bumpy Trot Portable in Japan) is an addictive board game featuring lovable characters from the Bumpy Trot series. While I enjoyed the Japanese version, released two years ago, it will be so much better if I know what those characters were talking about during matches. According to a product listing at GameFly, Majesco will be publishing this on February 7th. You can check out the Japanese demo in the demo page.

On to the recently released R-Type Tactics, Atlus US appears to have pick up the title, renamed it as R-Type Command, and set for release on March 4th for $39.90. I have plan to pick up the Japanese version but luckily it’s still in the shopping cart, with so many games to clear recently, I am happy to wait until next March.
