Classic Shooter Chou Aniki Revived For PSP

Cho Aniki

Plenty of PSP love in the upcoming issue of Weekly Famitsu and Zero Chou Aniki is probably the weirdest of them all. The side-scrolling shooter series is “best known for its wacky humor and vivid, surreal imagery” (source: Wikipedia) and judging from reaction in the forums, it seems to be quite popular as well. The PSP version appears to be a remake of the very first game, Chou Aniki for PC Engine, with faithful recreation of the background art and featuring the in-game music that fans of the series will fondly remember. The release date is set for release early 2009 in Japan with NCS/extreme the developers.
