Coded Soul To Get Chinese Version

Coded Soul

Sony Computer Entertainment Taiwan (SCET) is working on the Chinese version of Coded Soul for release in Taiwan, Hong Kong and South East Asia early next month. The game came out last week in Japan and debut at lowly 35th in the Media Create chart. Perhaps Weekly Famitsu’s review (the game received 29/40) has something to do with it. While the reviewers love the weapons creation and monster upgrades, they all agreed that the game has too many loading screens for good. Two of the reviewers also criticized the game’s slow pace and simplistic story.

While I’m glad that the game is coming in a language I can understand, SCET should really reconsider the pricing ($42.90 at Play-Asia) for a game already came out in Japan in these import heavy markets. However, for the patient types, and as past games like Rezel Cross shown, Play-Asia usually has a big discount on Asian titles, so you may want to wait until then. Here are some Chinese screens from GNN.
