Sega announced earlier today that it will carry out special launch events for Phantasy Star Portable in five cities this Thursday. Fans will be given postcards (check out three more design after the jump) based on the game and Japanese comedy trio Wagaya will be at the Tokyo events. It will be interesting to see how the game will do against the backdrop of Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G’s phenomenal success. If you can’t wait for Thursday, Play-Asia.com appears to have the Asia version of the game already in stock for $42.90.
