Dengeki PSP On Crisis Core

Crisis Core Final Fantasy VIICrisis Core Final Fantasy VII is one of the subjects of the latest issue of Dengeki PSP, the bi-monthly Japanese PSP mag. Nothing really new here, most has been said before, but the game’s director Hajime Tabata was interviewed and LB-CCFF7 has posted some of the highlights.

  • To summon a monster, you’ll have to equip yourself with item obtained from that particular monster. Once two of the three reels on Digital Mind Wave (DMW) spin to two similar characters, the DMW will turns into a monster summoning reel. Hence MP won’t be used for summoning.
  • The story begins with Genesis disappearance, Zack were assigned to look for him and get himself into a series of mysterious events. Players will learn how Zack, Angeal, Genesis and Sephiroth grow as a character and what kind of fates await them.
  • Materia will present in game’s various missions and venturing into various streets of Midgar will unlock various side quests. Taking these into account, the game will be more than 100 hours long.
  • A special event about Chocobo will appears after visiting the Chocobo Farm.
