Disgaea Multiplayer Screens

Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness is coming to us as a multiplayer upgrade to Disgaea Hour of Darkness, and here are some new screens to the Japanese version of the game. Including the various winning conditions that players can set when battling with each other. They look incredibly fun, especially the option for “Neutral Character”, where some characters can be set to attack both sides, further intensify a potentially chaotic battle. PS2 owners of Disgaea Hour of Darkness should be familiar with the game’s Geo Panels, players can now make use of the more than 30 special effects during multiplayer.


“Devil’s Items” are new to the game and can be used exclusively during multiplayer, from the above screens, it appears to reverse some of the character’s attributes.
Player can set the winning condition during multiplayer battle, and here are the available rules.

Here’s the set up screen for multiplayer.

Make your battle intense by setting a time limit of how long players can take during his/her turn.

To prevent the multiplayer become an one sided afair, you can set the the maximum level of the characters as well.

There is an option to make certain characters as a “Neutral Character”, they will attack any side during gameplay.

Geo Panels are available for multiplayer.

This is another cool feature, you will not be able to see your enemy until you’re exactly next to them.
