Dissidia Final Fantasy: Bartz Featured In Latest Famitsu
Six pages of Dissidia Final Fantasy in the upcoming issue of Weekly Famitsu (see the scans here). Bartz and Exdeath get their turns to show off this time, still no Cloud and Terra though, they should be in Shonen Jump this week. Other info include the back story of Chaos vs Cosmos, Ultimecia’s EX Mode, the summons, the special edition PSP and the Suntory made Dissidia Final Fantasy Potion.

October 15th, 2008 at 3:23 pmclick the source link to see the rest. There’s 6 full pages of scans. Bartz is also wielding Zidane’s swallow weapon in an FMV shot, and IIRC Firions sword. And I think you see Zidane’s Mage Mashers stuck in the ground during an FMV shot with Bartz and Ex-Death.

October 15th, 2008 at 7:38 pmno Zero, Bartz is the “Kakashi/Kirby” of this game, i dont think he really had any moves so they made him a Mimic instead

“Bartz has access to the attacks and weapons of the other Warriors of Cosmos because in this game he operates as a Mime. The design team wanted to incorporate the customization element that fans liked from FFV which not only covers Bartz’s weapons but also other abilities. For example, one screenshot caption mentions him having a boosted Jump skill. There is also mention that him being a Mime will have an effect on his EX-Mode, but no exact details were given.”
In another part it says :
“by the way, while in EX mode, Bartz will be able to use the skills of the job (he is mimicing).”
