Dissidia Pushed To Next Year?

While most of the attention was on the Kingdom Hearts portable games in this week’s Famitsu, the mag did ask Tetsuya Nomura about the progress of Dissidia: Final Fantasy and unfortunately, the action game featuring characters from previous Final Fantasy games appears to slip into next year. Earlier this year, Nomura teased everyone that the title would be meaningless if released later than this year since it’s a game to celebrate the series 20th anniversary. But high expectation and quality controls appear to have pushed the release date further now and Nomura can only tell the interviewer that the game is in full production mode now and development team is putting everything they have into the game.
