DKΣ3713: Final Fantasy XIII, The 3rd Birthday Come To PSP

Final Fantasy Agito XIII

PSP gets plenty of love from Square Enix in their ongoing DKΣ3713 Private Party 2008 event in Tokyo. Final Fantasy Agito XIII on PSP with simultaneous launch date (still TBA) as the mobile phones version is arguably the biggest announcement. Of the three games in the Fabula Nova Crystallis: Final Fantasy XIII compilation, I like Agito’s art style the best, so this is really an amazing news.

The 3rd Birthday is again, another game originally developed for mobile phones (NTT DoCoMo) only and is now set to appear on PSP as well in 2009. Very little is known about the third games in the Parasite Eve series that was announced at last year Square Enix media event.

Other PSP news include Dissidia Final Fantasy will be out this December, a year later than its original release plan. Those attending the event gets to download a special theme based on the game as well. Not surprisingly, a special Dissidia PSP bundle is being planned. Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep also get a somewhat expected vague release window of 2009. Finally, Square promised more efforts will be spent on PSP in the future.

More details on the event will be in later.

Yes! I’m so thrilled that FF Agito XIII is going to be on the PSP as well! I bet part of the decision to do that must be because the PSP is doing so well in Japan… this really is the era of the PSP! *is happy*
