E3 2008: Valhalla Knights 2: Bigger and Better

Found three previews of Xseed’s upcoming PSP release Valhalla Knights 2 and they seems quite positive about the game. For comparison, the content is twice the amount of the first game, which received pretty bad reviews in the US. There are 80 quests and the gameplay now clocking at 60-80 hours (collecting items and uncovering secrets could take you up to 135 hours). The game world has also gotten some expansion with 16 areas and 3 towns for players to explore. The fact that you can customize a character’s (there are six in a party) fighting style got me really interested. The system has received some enhancements as well with better AI and no random battles, IGN and GameSpot have more details on this. RPGFan also noted the improved control scheme and says is “worth a look even for those who disliked the first game”. Definitely getting this when it’s out this September.
