Enterbrain: 10,005,546 PSP Sold In Japan

Enterbrain reveals that PSP has sold 10 million units since its launch in Japan in December 2007, no doubt helped by the launch of Slim & Lite and the Monster Hunter Portable series. The latter also has three titles in the top 5 best selling PSP games since the system launch, with Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII at third place and Sega surprise hit Phantasy Star Portable at fifth place but looks set to surpass Crisis Core if it can maintain its current sales form for a few more weeks (full table after the jump). With PSP-3000 coming this October, a year after the release of Slim & Lite, and the amount of big titles coming out this fall, it will be interesting to see how far our favorite system can go.
