Square Enix will start the ball rolling for the 20 anniversary celebration of the Final Fantasy series this April with the release of Final Fantasy Anniversary Edition for the PSP in Japan for the slightly lower price of 3990 Yen (compare to 5040 Yen for usual PSP games). The game, if you remember, is a port of the first ever Final Fantasy that has been remade a few times before. This version will includes some of the new scenes found in the GBA remake, an illustration gallery, opening movie of the PlayStation version and a music player. On the other hand, Final Fantasy II Anniversary Edition gets a May release date. Apparently US online retailer EBgames listed the games for a June and July releases respectively, the price US$39.99.
