Final Fantasy II PSP Dated
It’s probably hard to believe, but lucky Japanese gamers will have a new Final Fantasy game to play every month starting from April. This is because Final Fantasy II Anniversary Edition has apparently been confirmed for a June 7 release in Japan by an upcoming issue of a Japanese gaming magazine. The game will be sold at a slightly lower price of 3990 Yen (compare to 5040 Yen for usual PSP games) and to feature new dungeons.
With Final Fantasy Anniversary Edition set for a April 19 release and Final Fantasy Tactics: Shishi Sensou on May 10, let’s also not forget that Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII will get a release date revealed soon plus Square’s hints of another FF related game for the PSP to be announced soon, the year 2007 will unofficially become the Final Fantasy year for the PSP. It will be interesting to see how this will improve PSP already impressive sales this year. Although the chances are high, there is no news yet for any of the game US release.

The game has been confirmed for a June 7 release in Japan. Check out more amazing sprite beauties after the jump. [...]
