In a session with the game’s developers during Square Enix Party 2007, GameSpot finally confirmed that Square Enix’s Final Fantasy Tactics: Shishi Sensou (likely to be named Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions) will be released in the US with October being the targeted date. The other great news is that there will some improvements over the Japanese version in terms of new localization and full audio for the cinematics. And surely something will be done to the slow down that some players are currently experiencing. Via GameSpot.

Update: A press release had just confirmed that the game will indeed be released this October, simultaneously for both US and European markets. Via PSPFanboy.
