Fishing Japan With Nippon no Asoko de

Nippon no Asoko de

Sony Japan unveiled Nippon no Asoko de in an earlier issue of Weekly Famitsu and these screenshots from Game Watch give us more idea of what exactly the game does. In the “Map/Entertainment” software, you will be helping Nabichu, a new staff from a travelling agency in outer space, investigates Japan. It sounds weird but in order to investigate any location from the UFO that Nabichu is flying, you need to do some fishing. Areas that are available for fishing will have fish shadows on them and if you manage to win a roulette battle, information on institutions or monuments located there will be revealed to you. The game will based on real world map of Japan and besides famous building like Tokyo Tower, it is updated with the latest information of convenience stores and banks as well. Other features include support for Ad Hoc and Infrastructure mode and the PSP Camera, players can customize the look of the main character and the cockpit of the UFO as well. Nippon no Asoko de is scheduled for release in Japan on May 1st. More screens from the game after the jump, there are more at the source of this article here.
