Global A Making Another Dungeon Maker For PSP
Despite excellent Weekly Famitsu reviews (I was reading Famitsu PlayStation + review of Chuumon Shiyouze! Oretachi no Sekai, another GAE title, as this comes in), Global A Entertainment’s Chronicle of Dungeon Maker series never really lights up the charts. But that doesn’t stops them from making the third game in the series and this time, they acquired the service of Katuya Terada for character design.
Based on screens from Famitsu and the official website, Nanatama: Chronicle of Dungeon Maker doesn’t looks very different and features the same system as the last two games. There will be an increase in building materials, monster types and interestingly, a new type of dungeon called “Ancient Remains” is being introduced, no details on how it works yet.
In the new game, players get to choose from over 110 building materials to create their dungeons. The creation process is fairly simple too and you can build more complicated dungeon this time round.
Another new element being added to Nanatama is decorations, which can be used to change the interior of your dungeon. Apparently, different decoration style will attract different monsters.
I’m picking up Dungeon Maker II: The Hidden War from Play-Asia soon, and hope this one and Chuumon Shiyouze! will get an English release too.
