.hack//Link Is Coming To PSP

CyberConnect2 appears to be working on the latest game in the .hack series and according to a release schedule listing from this week’s Dengeki PlayStation mag (and scans from Weekly Famitsu, view them after the cut), it’s coming to the PSP. Also from the scans, it looks like it will be an ARPG based on the manga .hack//Link, currently running on Kerokero Ace. Will this be the title that CC2 is counting down to?
Update: Based on early info, CC2 says this will the last .hack game, it will has the same setting as the manga version but features a different storyline, which will be told in comic book style. So you’ll be in the year 2020 as either main character Tokio Kuryuu or heroine Saika Amagi and join by over 100 characters from past titles in the series. Your enemy will still be Schicksal group, as in the manga version.
Battle system seems to be the same with previous games in the series except that it now features co-operation with a computer controlled character during battles. These battles are designed to look more like a fighting game with heavy focus on action. However, there is no mentioning of support for multiplayer, guess that will be announced later. The game also doesn’t has a release date yet.
Update 2: Revised with more information from IGN.
