Hajime no Ippo To Fight For PSP
ESP is developing a boxing game based on the long running anime and manga series Hajime no Ippo (Fighting Spirit in the US), as reported by Famitsu and announced earlier by the developers themselves. Called Hajime no Ippo The Fighting! Portable Victorious Spirits, the Famitsu scan shown images of Makunouchi Ippo, Miyata Ichiro, Takamura Mamoru and for the first time in a game, Malcolm Gedo. In total, the game will have more than 40 characters and the manga artworks will be used to tell the story. Also reported is the communication play via the Ad Hoc mode. The game is set to come out this winter in Japan. Previous games in the series have seen US release and Xseed is publishing the series’ first Wii outing, Victorious Boxers: Revolution later this month, so there might a chance for English version for this. Famitsu scan via NeoGAF.
Update: Check out the first screens.
