Huge Content Boost For Valhalla Knights 2
Marvelous has revealed the pre-order gift for Valhalla Knights 2, and it’s a soundtrack CD called “Sound of Valhalla Knights” with 20 tracks inside. Shojiro Nakaoka, whose sound works include Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, Final Fantasy XII and Seiken densetsu 4 is the man behind some of the music of the game.
Valhalla Knights 2 is sequel to the hot selling RPG game (in Japan at least, where 70,000 copies were sold according to Marvelous) that allows players to customize their heroes and have up to 6 party members in a battle. The sequel will features even deeper character customization with facial making, new enemies, huge amount of new weapons, armors and items to collect and more varied quests. The story department is getting it’s own upgrade with Miwa Shoda (Final Fantasy XII & Seiken densetsu 4) hired as the scenario writer. Players who clear the game can enjoy extra features like “Arena”, extra dungeon call Tower, “Hard Mode”, monsters & items gallery and “Infinite Combos”. Valhalla Knights 2 is set to come out in Japan on May 29th. More nice screens after the link below.

What I loved about Valhalla Knights 1 was its non-traditional representation of the elven races…not to mention the cute mech pilots!!!

The first game didn’t gain many positive reviews in the West but the Japanese love it with around 70,000 copies sold there.
