Iga Launches Castlevania In Japan

Castlevania: Dracula X Chronicles went on sale in Japan earlier today. Koji Igarashi, the producer and Ayami Kojima, the game’s artist were at Sofmap Akihabara today to sign autographs, talked about developing the game and answered questions from the fans. Igarashi is pleased that the game is finally done and has started work on the next game in the series, most probably for the DS. Other things mentioned were the changes from PC Engine version, challenges in producing the game for Western and Eastern audience and Kojima explained the changes in Maria’s appearance. Igarashi had previously expressed his disappointment at PSP sales, but with PSP’s recent revival and if this game sell good numbers, let’s hope Iga will produces more titles for the PSP in the future.
