Infinte Loop First Screens & Info

Nippon Ichi Software’s latest PSP project is an interesting adventure game called Infinte Loop and lot’s of new screens and info were sent out today for the game. The story, as reported earlier, is set in a small kingdom during Middle Ages Europe. A deadly disease struck the palace and kills most people including the King. People are either leaving or staying away from the palace so a young prince decided to find out the real cause of the epidemic. Unfortunately, he was killed as well after seeing a mysterious eye but his soul somehow survived and found himself attach to a waiter.

Through a fortune teller, the prince, now in ghost form, get to know that the deadly eye is the cause of the disease and those killed shouldn’t have a soul running around and therefore there must a reason that his soul survived the tragedy. With his new found skill of attaching himself to living people, the prince decided to resume his investigation.

Throughout the game, players will be the prince but they can not control any of the living people they attached to. Instead, they have to find out clues by listening to conversation between these people. There will be a time limit as to how fast players need to find their next clue before Game Over. During conversation, players can switch host, therefore invoking new conversation and find out more tips. It is this particular “Infinite Loop” that player must get out of.

The screens certainly look great and the concept is cool too, unfortunately this will be one tough game to play without good Japanese skill, hope there will a US publisher picking this up after its July 24th release.
