Investigating Anato Wo Yurusanai

I am deeply attracted by the game’s clean illustration and intriguing concept, so here’s a further look at AQ Interactive sound novel “Anato Wo Yurusanai” or “I Won’t Forgive You” in English. The game gains immediate attention thanks to Kazuya Asano and Nobuo Uematsu. The former is an experts in the genre and producer of Otogirisou and Kamaitachi No Yoru while the latter is world famous music composer of the Final Fantasy series.
Player has to hold the PSP vertically in order to play the game, press the R button to click through the menu and the analog stick to move the pointer on the screen. The story is chapter based, and will be different from player to player thanks to the game’s many paths that they can choose. The main character is Takeuchi Ririko who work at her father private investigation office. However things ain’t exactly smooth for her, as her husband decided to leave her and her father just gone missing. Face with this series of unfortunate events, Ririko has to continues her father’s business while looking for him at the same time.
On to the gameplay, while chatting with other characters, a “Check” sign will sometime appears and clicking on a directional button will bring up a window that player can observe the character’s facial expression or objects like wedding ring by moving the window with the arrow button. If there is anything that draws your attention, press the R button to switch the topic to that particular subject. Other elements of the game include tailing people with the analog stick and taking pictures with your lipstick (and various other cool gadgets that investigators use).
Anato Wo Yurusanai is set for release in Japan this November 15th. You can pre-order it at Play-Asia.com.
