Irem’s Survival Action Adventure Series Hits PSP
Zettai Zetsumei Toshi is Irem’s unique survival action adventure series that requires player to get themselves out of various dangerous situations in a major disaster. It has two games so far, Zettai Zetsumei Toshi (known as Disaster Report for its US release, view the trailer here) was out in 2002 while its sequel, Zettai Zetsumei Toshi 2 (Raw Danger in US) hits Japan in 2006. In the upcoming issue of Weekly Famitsu, it was revealed that the third game, Zettai Zetsumei Toshi 3, will be out next year in Japan for PSP.
The latest disaster for the series is like what happened in the first game, a major earthquake (the second game deals with flood) in an imaginary city and you’re a young man who managed to escape from a undersea tunnel. A couple of systems were revealed in the magazine, the first is the relationship between your health (HP) and stress (ST) level while the second deals with your decisiveness when under pressure. Interestingly, the game also features multiplayer for up to four players, not sure how that will play out.
The game is currently 75% done, you can check out the full mag report here.
