The first week of 2008 in Japan saw the return of many big selling Nintendo titles to the Top 10. Mario Kart DS was release in December 2005 and ended up at 8th and 11th for Enterbrain and Media-Create respectively, simply amazing. Even PSP’s Monster Hunter Portable 2nd manages to climb to the 14th spot at Media-Create. The last two major of the year for PSP, Star Ocean First Departure and Suzumiya Haruhi no Yakusoku slipped out of Top 10 after just a week. However, the system continues to post amazing numbers, almost 190,000 units sold.
