Capcom’s third fighting game based on the Fate/Stay Night franchise, Fate/Unlimited Codes Portable, debut at the second spot of the latest Japanese charts with more than 30,000 copies sold. The PS2 version, which came out late last year, did more than 50,000 on its first day. The number is also a little lower than Fate/Tiger Colosseum and Fate/Tiger Colosseum Upper, who did 50,000 and 34,000 respectively on their first week.

Another PSP game in the chart, Yuusha 30 (aka Half-Minute Hero) from Marvelous is about to break the 50,000 copies sold mark. A sequel is probably being considered now. Another original IP that managed to make its mark on PSP is Acquire’s Ken to Mahou to Gakuen Mono (aka Class of Heroes) series, of which its sequel is out in Japan today and it will be interesting to see how it does this time.
