At this rate, Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G, will probably beats its predecessor’s total sales figure in less than a month time. The game sold more around 480,000 copies this week, totaling 1.3 million so far. MHP 2nd took more than 13 months to move 1.6 million copies according to Enterbrain’s latest figure. As a result, the PSP system continues to sell extremely well, early figure put it at more than 100,000 units again, double that of Nintendo DS.

Square Enix’s Star Ocean Second Evolution debuts at 3rd with more than 90,000 copies sold in a week of many new games in the charts.
