Macross Landed On PSP
Artdink are currently working on Macross Ace Frontier, a mech action game based on the immensely popular sci-fi anime series. Their last PSP project was the popular Gundam Battle series and another mech game Carnage Heart Portable released more than two years ago.
Macross Ace Frontier is one of the big scoops in the latest issue of Weekly Famitsu with 5-page of information and an interview with the developers. Some info from the magazine scans include Five works from the series will be included in the game (The Super Dimension Fortress Macross, The Super Dimension Fortress Macross: Do You Remember Love?, Macross Plus, Macross 7 and Macross Frontier), more than 40 mechs and at least 30 characters. Songs play an integral part in the series and Macross fans would be pleased to know that they will be feature prominently in the game, along with the famous love triangle and mech transformation. The game will also has support for multiplayer via the ad-hoc mode.
Macross Ace Frontier is currently 60% done and is set for release this fall in Japan.
