Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops 2nd Best Seller In Japan
Despite its best efforts, Snake can’t beat two Pokemons alone as Konami’s latest game in the Metal Gear Solid saga unseat Nintendo DS’s Pokemon Pearl but Pokemon Diamond proves too strong for him despite shifting 178,370 copies in its first week in Japan. However, together with another new release for the week for PSP, Namco’s Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology (11th), both titles pushed the sales of the handheld to 138,588, sitting comfortably at the 3rd spot behind DS and Wii. ToW in fact sold 122,889 copies, not a bad efforts at all. Visit GAF for the full chart.
