Met some heavy resistance from the ugly looking Furu Furu in the snow mountains last night. The monster looks slow but can deals some real damage if you’re charged by his electric waves. However, unless you have read some guide somewhere on this particular quest (it’s the emergency quest in the Village 2 Stars Quest), you will be wasting most of your time just looking for the monster. The huge map doesn’t help either, and you’ll have to look out for your deteriorating stamina either due to extensive running or the extreme coldness. I must have spent more than 3 hours on this, but the feeling after seeing the huge beast going down is just what make the game so cool.

After that struggles, the 3 Stars Quests are opened, unlocking various other stuff in the game as well. One of them is in the farm where you can send a cat to collect items now, I can’t help but smile when I saw the cat sailing on its boat. Others stuff unlocked are an extra cat in your kitchen, new items on sale and new weapons.

Checked out the new areas open up as well, they are both, as expected, amazing. The swamp is wet and constantly under heavy rain. However I was really surprised to see the entire forest & hills map from MHP was copied and pasted into here, almost without a single visible change.
