The latest from Weekly Famitsu on Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G recap the announcements made in the completion ceremony last week. Media Install saves some of the game data into the memory stick and will greatly reduce loading time especially when traveling between areas in the maps. However, at least 580Mb of disk space is required with 1Gb the recommended space. Otomo Ailu is the AI companion that player can brings to offline quest and it was revealed that you can exchange Otomo Ailu with other players in the Guild Hall or turn on an option (while in the Ailu kitchen) to switch cat with the closest player that activated the function as well. Media Install

The Media Install activation screens, the last two screens show that it can be used with “BG Load” turned on. Remember 1Gb of disk space is needed, probably time for me to get a 4Gb Memory Stick Pro Duo. Monster Hunter Portable 2nd players may notice the nice new background for these static screens.

Otomo Exchange

Exchange Otomo Ailus in the Guild Hall. Also exchanged Otomo Ailus will keep the record of their previous owners.

Otomo Transfer

Setting up Otomo Transfer in the kitchen will allows you to exchange Otomo Ailu with any player that has the feature turned on.
