MHP 2ndG: Two Cool Million Shipped

Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G continues its incredible run as Capcom announced that they have now shipped 2 million copies of the game in Japan and describes the game as a social phenomenon. The shipment happens in just 29 days and the series as a whole now sold 7.4 million copies. The company also promise more download quests and events for MHP 2ndG in near future.

Speaking of download quests, there will be three available tomorrow. The first one is to protect Ailu’s house from the attack of Hipknock (image above), the giant birds that like to put hunters to sleep with their sleeping gas attack. Challenge Quest 03 is the most interesting, you will be send to a floating arena to take down a Ganototos (image top), the giant fish that breath water and has a deadly body attack. The third quest is still a mystery but the reward appear to be a rare Dual Swords.
