MHP2nd: 1.5 Million And Counting
Capcom announced today that Monster Hunter Portable 2nd’s sales has soars past 1.5 million mark in Japan, becoming the first PSP title to do so in the country. The game can still be seen in Media-Create weekly chart, almost 10 months after it’s launch, so this is hardly surprising. The award winning action game also receives another prize today, the “Excellence Prize” in the Entertainment Division of the Japan Media Arts Festival (Wii Sports won the Grand Prize).
This certainly bodes well for Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G’s performance, the expansion of MHP2nd world which is due for release on March 13th, 2008.

It would be nice though if Capcom returned some of that PSP love. With a Resident Evil or even that Devil May Cry game they announced years ago.
December 4th, 2007 at 5:52 pmThey still has Devil May Cry listed on their page though. Since they were quick to remove Monster Hunter 3 on the PS3 but not this, I think they are actually working on this, maybe after DMC4 is out?
