Monster Hunter Invades Tokyo

Monster Hunter Festa '08

That was the Monster Hunter crowd at Tokyo Big Sight yesterday, the second stop of Monster Hunter Festa ‘08. Famitsu vice editor Otsuka Hideyuki, who has been blogging non-stop about Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G (MHP 2ndG) since its launch, estimates that more than 8,000 hunters took part in this event.

Like the Fukuoka event few days ago, “The Monster Hunter Four”, a term given to producer Ryozo Tsujimoto and three other developers behind the series, was there to greet the hunter. So does the 30kg Rathalos Armor. The four later demoed a quest in the Jyukai map to fight the fearful looking Narugakuruga. More pictures after the jump.
